With over 25 years in video production since 2000, Ling is a seasoned filmmaker and full-service production specialist based in Hong Kong. Raised in New York City and trained in English Literature and Media Arts at Hawaii Pacific University, his career began behind the camera on a local television series in Honolulu. Since then, he has brought stories to life across New York, Hong Kong, and beyond for agencies, brands, and creative collaborators.

Ling’s versatility spans from operating cinema cameras, drones, and Steadicam rigs, to editing and directing across a range of formats—including documentaries, branded content, event coverage, short-form narratives, action visuals, and product and construction videos. A strong believer in the power of story and cinematic language, he blends technical mastery with a human-centered approach to create visuals that resonate.

As a cinematographer, Ling brings deep expertise across stabilized systems such as Steadicam, Movi, and drone platforms—technologies he’s embraced early and mastered over the years. Whether flying a camera through the sky or crafting an intimate handheld shot, his work is grounded in one clear goal: to tell your story in the most powerful and visually compelling way possible.
